Everything Just Duckie For Rubber Duckies

Atlanta, GA (WFN) -- The popularity of those rubber-necking Bobblehead dolls may soon be all washed up, in the opinion of a rubber duckie historian.

Jodie Davis, who documents the history of rubber ducks in the book "Rubber Duckies" (Running Press), is hoping the bath time staple will soon push Bobbleheads out of the toy limelight.

She says, just like Bobbleheads, rubber duckies can be made into celebrity lookalikes. In fact, one of Davis' friends runs a company called Celebriducks, which makes duckies that look like the Osbournes, members of KISS and various sports stars.

Davis even cites one ESPN poll where rubber duckies beat out Bobbleheads as the preferred baseball stadium giveaway.
