Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- The Jimi Hendrix classic "Purple Haze" is being seen through the eyes of a punker. LOS ANGELES -- Older is better as far as" The Bachelor "is concerned. "TV Guide" reports that ABC has recruited a wealthy fortysomething gent to star in the new fall edition of the show. So far, male bachelors have a 0-5 record finding love on the show and execs think an older man might be more settled in his decision. HIGH POINT. N.C. -- "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino's father is breaking into the music business. After spending 15 years as a truck driver, Joe Barrino has announced he will form his own record label. HOLLYWOOD -- "Cheers" actress Kirstie Alley is weighing in with reality TV. The pleasantly-plump 53-year-old actress has pitched "Fat Actress," a reality-comedy series about the life of an overweight female celebrity to Showtime.
