Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Olympic athletes might get more publicity, but the participants in the Transplant Games have more heart. Especially if their heart originally belonged to someone else. The games begin July 28 and more than 2000 heart, liver, lung and kidney transplant patients will meet in St. Paul-Minneapolis to compete in Olympic-style events. TV legend Larry Hagman -- who received a new liver in 1996 -- will be handing out gold medals to the winners but figures everyone's a winner for just being alive. Although the athletes take the competition seriously, Hagman says the most emotional part of the games is the ceremony when the athletes pay tribute to the families of the people who donated their organs. In his words, "It's a great gift."
