New York, NY (WFN) -- All is not in the family for actress Joely Fisher -- at least where her dad, singer Eddie Fisher, is concerned.

Fisher tells the upcoming "Parade" magazine that she has tried to build a relationship with her pop but admits, "He never really learned to relate to his children."

It's been hard for her, but she keeps working at it because "...he's my Dad."

Fisher's relationship with the other members of her family is much better. She lives next door to her sister, Tricia, and has been on a few USO tours with her mother, Connie Stevens.

Besides dealing with family issues, Fisher keeps busy working on her TV series, "Wild Card," which airs Sundays on Lifetime.
