Seal Beach, CA (WFN) -- When it comes to supporting pro sports, the fans in Denver, Colorado, are the most passionate.

According to a new study by DirectTV, Denver has the highest percentage of fanatical fans -- the kind who tattoo their bodies with a team logo or devote a room in the house to sports memorabilia.

The Mile-High City is populated with such intense fans that it beats the No. 2 city, Boston, by a mile.

Other cities with sports-loving citizens include San Francisco, Philadelphia, and New York.

Not all cities are as supportive of sports teams -- such as country music capital Nashville, Tennessee, which ranks at the bottom of the 40-city list, just below Portland, Oregon.
