Spider-Man Is Top Superhero Screensaver

New York, NY (WFN) -- Spider-Man isn't just breaking box office records -- he's spinning a web around folks who use the world wide web.

The web-slinger is the No. 1 superhero netheads are downloading in screensaver form, according to a poll taken by Screensavers.com.

Spidey beats out Batman and Captain America, with Superman and The Punisher rounding out the top five in the survey of 43,662 superhero downloads.

Screensavers.com reports that downloads of Spider-Man increased 605 percent in the last few days, also topping the website's Celebrity Download Index with 43 times more downloads than Pam Anderson and 13 times more than Britney Spears.
