	2004-07-01 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Sparks Are Igniting For Cigarette Lighter Tricksters

Oslo, Norway (WFN) -- A Norwegian man whose dreams were doused when U.S. fire safety groups objected to his website of cigarette lighter tricks is getting a second chance to ignite some sparks. Former journalist Morten Kjolberg's site, zippotricks.com, was sponsored by Zippo lighters, but political pressure drove the company to shut it down last August. But Kjolberg is back in the game now with a new website, lightertricks.com, which will fittingly launch in the U.S. on Independence Day (Jul. 4). Lightertricks.com features instructional video footage of lighter-spinning stunts with names like "Loops of Fury," "Tumbleweed" and "Better Than Viagra!" Kjolberg says last year's controversy made the new site possible because it brought more people into the hobby, making it easier to sell ads on his website. His next step is expansion into the Asian market with sites for Chinese and Japanese lighter tricksters.
