Europeans Admire U.S. Economy More Than Quality Of Life

Rochester, NY (WFN) -- Americans are proud of their country but Europeans aren't that impressed with the quality of life.

According to a Harris Poll of Europeans, the U.S. ranks 5th as far as quality of life, behind Canada, France, Spain and Germany.

America's robust economy does rank No. 1 with Europeans, beating out Japan, Canada and Great Britain, but it ranks No. 8 as far as quality of environment is concerned.

Finally, only 7 percent of Europeans have faith in the current U.S. government, while 19 percent are thrilled with Spain's government and 16 percent have a positive impression of the French government.
