Valley Center, CA (WFN) -- It's no joke -- conservatives spend liberally on political satire -- especially compared to liberals. That's what political satirist Michael Johnson learned during Bill Clinton's administration, when he published a "Bubba bashing" magazine called "Slick Times," which he says did "very well" financially. He says left-leaning satirists like Michael Moore and Al Franken may sell their share of books and DVDs, but, dollar for dollar, conservatives spend more money on political humor than liberals. Johnson made that discovery when he parlayed his Clinton comedy career into a business selling novelty $3 bills of Clinton, Hillary Clinton and George W. Bush. Bush has his critics, but the fake Clinton currency sells much better than the bogus Bush bills and Johnson says sales are only increasing now that the former President has released his memoirs. Johnson is currently following the former President's lead and writing his own memoirs, tentatively titled "Shooting The Moon With Slick Willie."
