New York, NY -- Don't underestimate the lengths brides will go to control their big day: One of them recently asked a wedding planner for tips to ensure her new brother-in-law will only receive watered-down drinks during her wedding reception.

Planner Diane Rohan answers calls at 1-888-5-WE-BRIDES, a new hotline set up to help "Bridezillas" -- normal women who mutate into matrimonial monsters from the stress of planning a wedding.

She says the bride she spoke to earlier this week fears her fiance's brother will get stinking drunk and ruin the reception, so she wants to curb the guy's alcohol intake.

The point of the hotline is to keep women from turning into control-freak Bridezillas, so Rohan recommended the bride discuss her fears with her groom and his brother directly.

Still, she did offer one sneaky solution: Assign the brother-in-law his own personal waiter who treats him like a VIP while watering down his drinks.
