55 Percent Of Americans Want Reagan On Currency

Bellevue, WA (WFN) -- Americans are hoping to cash in on Ronald Reagan's death.

According to a new survey by Coinstar, 55 percent want to see the "Great Communicator's" mug on American currency but can't decide which bill it should be.

About 13 percent say Reagan should replace Benjamin Franklin on the $100 bill while 12 percent say he should push Alexander Hamilton off the $10 bill. Another 11 percent want to see his mug on $50 bills.

But 45 percent don't think Reagan should be on a bill if it means dumping another dead president and 19 percent prefer he be commemorated with a $1 coin.
