DENVER/WASHINGTON -- Rising gas prices are going Loews. The Loews hotel chain is offering a rebate to travelers who show their gas receipts before booking a room. Both the Loews in Denver and The Jefferson in Washington, D.C., will knock off up to $30 off the price of a room to reimburse tourists who drive to those destinations.

AUSTIN, Texas -- An Austin, Texas, man is holding fast to his websites Bush2004.com, dot-org and dot-net, despite being offered $135,000 by George W. Bush supporters for the whole lot. Brian Rodgers bought the addresses last year and turned them into satire sites which slam President Bush. He refuses to sell the sites according to wired.com, saying Bush is a "sorry son of a bitch and I'll do anything I can to bring him down."
