London, England -- Insuring chest hair? That's one of the more unusual requests sent to Creechurch Underwriting in London, which is part of Lloyds of London. According to the AFP, the underwriters were recently asked to design a four-page policy for an unnamed star to be paid if "in the opinion of two independent medical referees, the insured person has suffered loss of more than 85 percent of his hair covering the front of his torso."

ZURICH -- The Swiss soccer team is stocking up on stockings. The coach has encouraged his players to wear support stockings, usually worn by pregnant and overweight women, to stimulate circulation in the legs before today's Euro 2004 game against England, according to the "Blick" newspaper.

LINZ, Austria -- An Austrian man found himself with a real spare tire around his gut after falling asleep inside a tire swing on a playground in the city of Linz. The "Krone" newspaper reports a friend tried to pry the 46-year-old out of the tire, but finally had to call fire fighters for help.

CHAPRA, India -- And you think car commuting is bad: An Indian commuter train has run an average of five to six hours late every day for the past 16 years. The Srantah Express, which travels from Chapra to Allahabad, gets held back daily by commuters who use the emergency chord to stop the train near their homes. Locals are hopeful that a newly-elected railway minister from Chapra will improve the situation, according to the Indo Asian News Service.
