Washington -- The U.S. Postal Service is giving its stamp of approval to Ronald Reagan by putting his face on a postage stamp in 2005. Usually, a person must be dead 10 years before they can be immortalized on a stamp, but an exception is made for U.S. presidents.

CHICAGO -- What's in a name? Illinois state senator Jeffrey Schoenberg and House Minority Leader Tom Cross have renamed the Stem Cell Research Act to honor the late President Ronald Reagan. The bill is now called the Ronald Reagan Biomedical Research Act.

NORFOLK, Va. -- The U.S.S. Ronald Reagan nuclear aircraft carrier is leaving Norfolk, Virginia, this week and heading to its home in San Diego. Before she returns she'll have other duties along the South American continent and Cape Horn.
