According to a new survey by Yahoo! TV, Bill Cosby's "Cosby Show" dad, Cliff Huxtable, is the most popular father on television.

Thirty-five percent of folks picked Cliff when asked, "If you could have been raised by a TV dad instead of your own, which one would you pick?"

Competence as a father isn't necessarily important to folks, because bumbling cartoon dad Homer Simpson is the No. 2 pick on the list.

Advice-dispensing "Happy Days" pop Howard Cunningham comes in at No. 3, followed by a three-way tie: "8 Simple Rules" dad Paul Hennessy, "Family Ties" father Steven Keaton and beleaguered "Married With Children" patriarch Al Bundy.

Meanwhile, few folks would want blustering bigot Archie Bunker as a dad. Only two percent would replace their own pop with the "All In The Family" father.
