Nancy Reagan Considered Second Best First Lady

Rochester, NY (WFN) -- Ronald Reagan is being lauded as a great president, but his wife Nancy Reagan was no slouch at being First Lady if a new survey is correct.

Nancy comes in second place in a Harris Poll of which First Lady among the last nine is the best. Meanwhile, Jackie Kennedy is regarded as the best First Lady.

Also, 79 percent of Americans believe that Laura Bush has "improved the image of the office of First Lady," while only 49 percent believe Hillary Clinton improved the image during her days in the unelected office.

Jackie O. beat out the gals in all but one category: intelligence. Forty-one percent of folks think Clinton is more intelligent than Jackie.
