Wichita, KS -- Starting this weekend, casting directors will be looking for six people willing to go on a "three hour tour."

The first casting call for the "Gilligan's Island" reality show will be held Saturday (Jun. 12) in Wichita, Kansas, and the second on Sunday (Jun. 13) in Pratt, Kansas.

Dawn Wells, who played Kansas farm girl Mary-Ann will be in attendance to lend a hand looking for her counterpart.

Producers are looking for people who can fill the role of the professor, skipper, millionaire couple, movie star and Gilligan.

Lloyd Schwartz, son of "Gilligan's Island" creator Sherwood Schwartz, says in the case of Ginger, they're not looking an A-list star. "If we got Nicole Kidman, it would unbalance the show." He sees someone more like a "Baywatch" star filling the role.

Schwartz also says Gilligan has often been mistakenly called stupid when he was merely over-enthusiastic. Producers are hoping for the same type of "cute guy," but he doesn't have to be a first-mate.

Most importantly, Schwartz says that the roles are open to all races, and that it's possible they might cast a gay millionaire with a husband, not a wife.
