Seattle, WA (WFN) -- Put this in your pipe and smoke it: A new study suggests there's no link between marijuana use and oral cancer. Researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center smoked out the findings by interviewing hundreds of pot smokers without oral cancer and comparing their lifestyles with patients who puff tobacco. Doctors found no increased risk regardless of how long, how much or how often a person toked up, even among potheads with other oral cancer risk factors such as a tobacco habit or heavy alcohol use. The researchers claim their study is "not the last word on the topic," but senior author Dr. Stephen Schwartz says it's "...pretty solid in saying there's nothing going on here."
