Santa Monica, CA (WFN) -- Card players should bust with excitement over a new televised celebrity blackjack tournament.

"Celebrity Blackjack" pits 25 celebrities against each other for charity, and while some stars like Chynna Phillips and Camryn Manheim claim to be ignorant about the game, both proved to be impressive players.

Co-producer Jonathan Frank says Manheim was a real card because she came in claiming she didn't know how to play. Frank says a week before the tournament, she probably didn't, but because she was already a great poker player, she picked up the game easily.

Frank also says that Snoop Dog and John Melendez really cut up the other celebs at the table with comedy.

Other celebs in the tournament include Shannon Elizabeth, Jamie Kennedy, Billy Baldwin and Melissa Joan Hart.

The first episode of the tournament begins July 5 on the Game Show Network.
