Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Some reality TV shows lose momentum the second time around but the producer of "For Love or Money" is convinced lightning can strike three and four times.

J.D. Roth admits he spent much of last fall trying to figure out how to "keep the brand alive" and was nervous up until the first day of shooting.

Roth relaxed after seeing how the cast interacted and realized, "You can do this 100 times. It's an age-old question. For love or money?"

But it was in the editing booth that he really became convinced. As he puts it, "When I saw the crew members crying while watching the show, I knew we had something."

"For Love Or Money 3" debuts June 7 on NBC and Roth claims the connection between that version and "For Love Or Money 4" airing later this summer is "a reality TV first."
