San Diego, CA (WFN) -- It pays to be a fake -- at least if you're up front about it. That's how it's working for Russ Stolnack, a comedian-turned-corporate speaker who impersonates top executives at big events. Stolnack's shtick is pretending he's an expert with legitimate information. As he puts it, "I have an audience believing I'm a serious speaker, then make it obvious I'm not, and within 5-10 minutes everyone catches on and cracks up." So far, Stolnack has been a fake fundraising expert, a make-believe marketing exec and a phony CEO -- and he has no guilt about it whatsoever. As he puts it, "Those guys at Enron lied. You can buy made-up degrees on the internet. I'm the only one who's admitting I'm a liar."
