Minneapolis, MN (WFN) -- If President George W. Bush wins reelection in November, he'll have the folks who drive RVs to thank. Political pollsters are predicting a close presidential election in November, but Bush drives away with the vote of those who drive recreational vehicles. No one knows if the RV owners will be this election's version of the "soccer mom" demographic that helped Bill Clinton win reelection in 1996, but a new poll by Funroads.com suggests that 90 percent of RV owners will be voting this time around. So far, 60 percent are solidly behind "Dubya," only 24 percent of RVers are voting for John Kerry and 12 percent are planning to cast a ballot for "someone other than Bush, Kerry or Ralph Nader." By the way, 60 percent of RVers say they decorate their vehicle with an American flag.
