New York, NY -- Gay Pride season is gearing up now, but the gay community is taking the time to shame 15 people, places and things they've labeled evildoers.

"Genre" magazine released its annual "15 Most Horrible List" which in the magazine's editors' words "acknowledge our enemies -- below and beyond -- and do something, anything, to drive them back."

Pope John Paul II heads the list for "broadcasting the murderous lie that condoms don't help prevent HIV transmission" and for fostering sexual predation by priests.

Other members of the list include both U.S. Presidential candidates George W. Bush -- for his constitutional amendment banning gay marriage -- and John Kerry -- for not supporting his home state of Massachusetts' decision in favor of gay marriage.

Phillip Morris made the list because 36 percent of gays smoke compared to 25 percent of the straight population.

Finally, editors accuse the Jamaican government of looking the other way when gays are bashed -- especially because the police are frequently the assailants.
