	2004-05-19 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Dean Martin: Making Hard Work Look Easy

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Dean Martin is known for his long successful showbiz career, but his biggest achievement may have been the way he made hard work look so easy. That's according to his daughter, Gail Martin, who says her Dad was a genius at making his job look easy. In fact, she says one of her sisters was convinced he was a golfer for a living since she never saw him break a sweat. However, Gail says her Dad actually worked very hard. Once, she drove up next to him on the side of the road and saw him listening to a tape of one of his concerts and singing along with it. As she puts it, "He was practicing his ad-libs so they wouldn't sound rehearsed." A new compilation album, "Dino: The Essential Dean Martin," hits stores on June 1, just in time for the 87th anniversary of the singer's birthday (June 7).
