Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Most kids have a hard time with their teen years, but Angelica, that sassy gal from "Rugrats," is relishing them.

Fans of the long-running Nickelodeon show have been watching the "Rugrats" gang's pre-teen antics on a new show, "All Grown Up," and one of the big changes is that Angelica has lost some of her bossiness.

Actress Cheryl Chase, who has voiced Angelica for 10 years, says the change is a welcome break for her vocal chords since "I don't have to scream as much."

On the serious side, Chase says she's enjoying the emotional range that comes from having Angelica face pre-teen problems -- like zits and first kisses.

But it may be a while before the actress sees her dream scenario for her character come true. Says Chase, "I personally would like to see her form a punk band to get out all of her angst."
