New York, NY (WFN) -- Today's moms do many things just like their own mothers, but attitudes have definitely changed since the 1950s. According to a survey by iVillage.com, today's mom is more anxious about vaccinations than June Cleaver. About 53 percent of modern women express anxiety when their kids get shots compared to only 37 percent of ladies in the 1950s. In addition, 33 percent of today's women think it's okay to let the kids join them in bed -- something only 4 percent of '50s-era ladies considered appropriate. Finally, there's been a turnaround in philosophy as far as crying is concerned. Back in the 1980s, only 57 percent would let their kids cry themselves to sleep. Now, 69 percent are willing to deal with the screaming.
