	2004-05-06 - Weird News Wireless Flash News 'Parkers' Fans Just As Passionate About Series Finale As 'Friends' Fanatics

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- A TV network's most popular sitcom is ending its run on TV this week -- but we're not talking about "Friends." This Monday (May 10), "The Parkers" is ending a five-year stint on UPN as one of the network's most popular shows. It's not getting the hype that tonight's "Friends" finale (May 6) is getting but "Parkers" star Dorien Wilson says his show's fans are just as passionate about how the show ends as "Friends" fanatics are about Ross and Rachel. In his words, "I can't go anywhere without someone asking if my character ends up with Mo'Nique's." Wilson says the cast and crew felt a lot of pressure to make the last episode special, and promises "...an emotional wedding scene people will be talking about for weeks." But Wilson hasn't actually seen the show. He's waiting until Monday because, as he puts it, "I want to be shocked like everyone else."
