Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- The future is looking bright for Big Brother if an L.A.-based ad man's predictions hold any weight. Commercial writer Scott G, who also records electronica music under the name "The G-Man," believes that commercials will soon be projected from postage stamps, product packaging and even humans' own bodies via microchip implantation. Mr. G points out that people already implant microchips in their pets, so it's not so far-fetched to think they might place chips in themselves. He also thinks future TV sets will have debit card scanners so folks can purchase products the moment they see them on a commercial, while songs will have barcodes so you can snap them up while they're playing on the radio. Meanwhile, restaurants will feature menus with branded ingredient lists and public toilets will broadcast commercials. Mr. G admits some of these predictions are "frightening," but he thinks it's important for consumers to be aware of what's coming.
