Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- "Cosby Show" mom Clair Huxtable sure was strict with her kids, but that hasn't stopped TV fans from picking her as the boob tube's top mama in two separate polls.

The do-it-all lawyer and mother-of-five played by Phylicia Rashad came out on top of a survey by Splenda seeking the best mother on television, as well as a Yahoo poll which asked, "If you could have been raised by a TV Mom instead of your own mother, which would you choose?"

In the Splenda survey, "Happy Days" matriarch Mrs. C came in second, followed by Marge Simpson.

But in the Yahoo poll, Richie Cunningham's mom ranks No. 3, after Elyse Keaton from "Family Ties," and blue-haired Marge doesn't even make the list.
