Fairfield, IA (WFN) -- The most famous citizens of Boise, Idaho, may soon be "Ms. Pac-Man" and the "Super Mario Brothers." Twin Galaxies, an organization that keeps official records for the video game industry, is planning to build a museum dedicated to video games and pinball in the potato state's capital. Spokesman Walter Day says the proposed Video Game and Pinball Museum will not only feature exhibits dedicated to "Pac-Man" and "Donkey Kong" but there will also be 40,000 games available from all eras of computer games. Boise might seem a strange place for a building envisioned as the equivalent of the Baseball Hall of Fame but Day says the city has the main criteria for an attraction geared towards the video game crowd: "A beautiful outdoors environment." If all goes according to plan, the Boise Video Game And Pinball Museum will officially open in January, 2005.
