New York, NY (WFN) -- Music may soothe the savage beast, but songwriting calms the fears of a worried 5-year-old. According to singer songwriter Dana, whose song, "Tear Streaks," is tearing up the charts, she's been writing what she calls "introspective pop" since she was 5 and wrote a song dealing with her fighting parents who later divorced. Life may not have been beautiful music for Dana, but the song was good enough in that she still remembers it to this day. However, she has no plans to record it, preferring to "work on the songs I'm writing now." Dana's latest CD is "Thread Of Blue."
