Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- The answer to who replaces Martha Stewart while she's in the slammer may be answered May 25 and 26. ABC is airing a reality special, "The Great Domestic Showdown," featuring six domestic gods and goddesses who go through the wringer doing various household chores designed to challenge even the heartiest homemaker. Contestants will be judged in six categories: decorating, cooking, gardening, entertaining, home improvement and event planning; they'll also be judged by a panel of experts a la "American Idol." The winner not only gets to claim the title of "Domestic Diva," but he or she will win a book contract with Hyperion Books and a pilot for a TV show. ABC execs see the show as a source of great drama, but host Adam Carolla prefers to think of it as his "coming out party," adding, "Not in a gay way, but I certainly wouldn't call it straight."
