Kelsey Grammer Nixes Big Screen 'Frazier'

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Seems like every hit TV show eventually gets made into a movie, but that's a fate that Kelsey Grammer refuses to consider for "Frazier."

The show's series finale will be May 13, and Grammer says that should be it for Frazier Crane because he "...doesn't want to see Frazier played by some young guy 20 years from now on the big screen."

But perhaps the stage isn't out of the question.

Grammer says opera is one of Frazier's major passions and figures the characters like Niles and Daphne lend themselves to that art form.

Once the show ends, Grammer has no plans to jump into any kind of work right away, preferring to spend time with his family "...moving to a new house."
