Baton Rouge, LA (WFN) -- Louisiana native Britney Spears could get in serious trouble by wearing her trademark low-rider jeans in her home state if a proposed state law passes. The bill would slap citizens with a $500 fine or an up to six-month jail sentence if they're caught in public wearing low-slung pants. The "Times-Picayune" newspaper reports state representative Derrick Shepherd wrote the bill because he's sick of seeing young people with their underwear hanging out over their pants.
