New York, NY (WFN) -- Fashion designer Donna Karan is getting the last laugh on her alma mater, the Parsons School of Design. Karan flunked out there in 1969 while taking a draping course but now she'll be getting an honorary doctorate from the university next month. NEW YORK -- Spread the news: CNN newscaster Robin Meade is the sexiest newscaster on TV. According to a poll by Playboy.com, Meade ran away with 40 percent of the vote, beating out broadcasting beauties like Paula Zahn, Elizabeth Vargas and Alison Stewart. AMSTERDAM -- Silent movie sex symbols Rudolph Valentino and Gloria Swanson will be reunited at last thanks to the recent discovery of a long-lost film that shows their only on-screen pairing. The Nederlands Filmmuseum in Amsterdam recently discovered the missing reels to the 1922 love story "Beyond the Rocks" in a collection of film cans donated by a collector. Film historians will restore the movie to its former glory for a screening scheduled for April 2005 at the museum. NEW YORK -- The cast of "Friends" could have looked very different if Jon Cryer's audition tape had made it to producers in time for the casting of the now-classic sitcom. The man best-known as "Duckie" from "Pretty In Pink" says he was in the running to play the sarcastic Chandler on the show, but his videotaped try-out didn't make it in time. Cryer has no regrets, though. He tells the upcoming "Parade" magazine, "Who knows, if I had been cast, maybe Friends would have flopped." MIAMI -- Anna Kournikova may be in a different court beside the tennis one. Her parents are suing the tennis star saying she has taken over their Miami waterfront home the three of them own jointly. Her parents filed the lawsuit in Miami-Dade county, asking for their share of the money of the house, but according to the Associated Press, Kournikova's agent had not heard of the lawsuit.
