Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Not much has been heard from the new wave tribal beat band Bow Wow Wow since their 1980s hit, "I Want Candy," but fans will have "No Doubt" about the group this summer.

Bow Wow Wow members Annabella Lwin and Leigh Gorman will be playing a few dates around the United States this summer with the help of No Doubt drummer Adrian Young on the skins.

Lwin currently performs mostly as a solo artist but is happy to do the brief summer tour because, "I love the songs and I love performing them."

But while she expects lots of old fans will come to the shows, Lwin figures there will plenty of music appealing to folks discovering the band for the first time.

The mini-tour takes place in July and, if all goes well, Lwin admits there could be more wow to Bow Wow Wow's future. In her words, "This may all be a big set-up for 2005, which will represent our 25th anniversary since we first formed."
