|
New York, NY (WFN) -- If you were on trial for a horrendous crime, who would you want as your defense lawyer: Keanu Reeves or Gregory Peck? Believe it or not, most students would pick Keanu. According to a poll by the Princeton Review, almost 50 percent would seek representation from Reeves' shady character from "The Devil's Advocate," rather than the ultra-moral Atticus Finch -- Peck's character in "To Kill A Mockingbird." Adding insult to injury, students consider "The Devil's Advocate" to be the film which portrays lawyers in the worst possible light. However, this might explain the students' choices: The lawyer played by Reeves won his case, while Peck's character lost. Other legal eagle answers... -- Tom Cruise's rookie lawyer in "The Firm" is the male attorney most students would want to spend time alone with outside of the courtroom. -- And 40 percent say "A Few Good Men" is the flick which is most likely to convince them to plunk down $80,000 for law school.
