New York, NY (WFN) -- The job candidates who get fired on "The Apprentice" could still end up with a trump card in their resume.

Donald Trump says that he's been quite impressed with the final 16 candidates chosen to compete for a job in his empire -- and admits he's "considering hiring more than one of them."

There is a caveat: Trump says he "won't pay them as much...because they didn't win."

Another possible avenue of employment for the fired apprentices might be a career on reality TV. "Apprentice" producer Mark Burnett says some candidates, especially Sam, could make great TV shows themselves.

However, Burnett worries that "we have lightning in a bottle and I don't want to dilute the product."

Trump fires the final apprentice on April 15 and insists he hasn't picked the winner yet.
