Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Amanda Byram, host of the new Fox makeover series, "The Swan," has some touchy feelings about plastic surgery -- she compares it to masturbation.

In her words, "Plastic surgery is like masturbation. Everyone either says they don't do it; or used to do it but quit."

Byram -- best-known for hosting the reality show "Paradise Hotel" -- had a lot of time to reflect on cosmetic surgery since "The Swan" began production and admits she'd have it done if somebody else was paying for it.

Still, Byram admits the way she might feel on a bad hair day can't compare to the feelings of the 16 women on the show, who will undergo complete life makeovers culminating in a TV beauty pageant.

"The Swan" debuts tomorrow (Apr. 7) but Byram says the show is already a success because after the show finished, "one of the contestants had sex with her husband for the first time in seven years."
