Palatine, IL (WFN) -- Some barbecue hounds will do anything to get their hands on some grilled meat -- including using a barbecue grill outside in the middle of winter.

According to a new poll by Weber grills, an impressive 39 percent of folks who own an outdoor grill have used it when the temperature is below freezing.

The survey also shows that charcoal grilling is making a comeback, with an increase in fans from 15 percent last year to 19 percent this year.

-- Thirty-one percent of grillers surveyed own more than one barbecue grill.

-- Independence Day is the top holiday for grilling with 75 percent of folks firing up, but 24 percent use it on Thanksgiving and 14 percent grill on Christmas Day.

-- Finally, hamburgers are the top food for grilling, followed by steak, chicken and hot dogs.
