Houston, TX (WFN) -- The folks who make Hi-C beverages are being pretty tongue-in-cheek about their newest drink. On April Fools' Day, Hi-C sent out a press release telling reporters it was joining forces with an organization called "The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Tongues" (SPCT) in response to public concern over a new drink called Sour Blast. The release went on to say people are worried that the intensity of the drink may cause tongues to suffer and quoted a Hi-C taste analyst named "T. Bud Sour." Worried parents are supposed to check out SaveTheTongue.org, a website which contains tips for safely drinking Sour Blast -- such as keeping a glass of ice water nearby to dull the sour taste. However, once you read the fine print on the site, you'll see this message from the "SPCT," "If you thought we were a real organization, then the joke's on you! Happy April Fools' Day!"
