New York, NY (WFN) -- Two New York ice cream vendors were arrested on charges of attempted murder for trying to cream the competition with a pipe attack. The vendors allegedly bashed 64-year-old Juana Marrero over the head with a pipe, then turned on her husband, Luis, when he intervened. The group had been in a turf war over their competing businesses. DENVER -- An America Online session nearly left one user in the poorhouse after his phone bill arrived with a $2,500 charge. The Denver, Colorado, customer's daughter had unknowingly dialed a toll number and racked up charges. Mark Walters says he tried talking the hard-nosed phone company into lowering the bill, but at first they refused. Walters eventually wheedled the phone company down to $375. NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- A Chicago-area pottery shop owner is taking a pot-shot at Donald Trump. Susan Brenner says Trump has no right to trademark his catchphrase from "The Apprentice," "You're Fired," because it is also the name of her ceramics store. According to the "Chicago Tribune," Brenner is having her lawyer write a letter to Trump asking him to halt his efforts to trademark the phrase, which is creating confusion for customers in her store. RIO DE JANIERO, Brazil -- A Brazilian brewery has been forced to increase a settlement paid to a former brewer who claims his work turned him into an alcoholic. Master Brewer Bernd Naveke was originally awarded $30,000, but after arguing his case against Brahma Brewery again, had the sum bumped up to $2 million, reports "O Globo."
