Take Me Out To The Pick-Up Joint, Er, Ballgame

San Diego, CA (WFN) -- There's a good reason women want to be taken out to the ballgame -- they think it's a great place to meet guys.

According to a survey by the It's Just Lunch dating service, a whopping 74 percent of lonely heart ladies think baseball games are good pick-up spots.

Two-thirds of women also think the ballpark is a great place to take a date, compared to 50 percent of men.

-- 67 percent of guys think proposing to your girlfriend using the scoreboard at a game is embarrassing, but 8 percent think it's romantic.

-- 84 percent of guys say if they caught a ball in the stands, they'd give it to their date.

-- And, finally, around 33 percent of women admit they've gone to sports bars solely to meet men.
