Omaha, NE (WFN) -- Most people don't want a housepet who destroys furniture or tracks filth all over the house, but a Nebraska-based cleaning company is eager to hear from them. The Maids Home Services is holding a contest to find the person whose hound is the biggest home-wrecker, and will award the owner of the most destructive dog, cat or other pet a free year of house-cleaning. Some of the pesky pets who've entered the contest so far include an Afghan that shredded all the papers in its owner's office, a Schnauzer who ate its way through its mistress' makeup kit and smeared the stuff on a beige carpet, and a terrier which attacked a sofa and tore huge holes in the cushions. Dogs aren't the only destroyers: The company has also heard from folks with messy marsupials, filthy fish and rug-ruining rabbits. Pet owners can submit their horror stories online at maids.com until May 31, and five grand prize winners will be picked in mid-June.
