Santa Clarita, CA (WFN) -- "The Love Boat" hasn't been on the air in ten years but former cast member Jill Whelen has a ship-shape career. Whelen -- who played Vicky Stubing -- will officially christen a new cruise ship, the Caribbean Princess, on April 2 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and then she will marry her fiance, Michael Chaykowsky, aboard the same ship later that evening. LONDON -- Orlando Bloom is being tapped to fill James Bond's tuxedo when Pierce Brosnan retires from the debonair spy role. London's "Daily Star" tabloid reports that Bond producers are desperate to cast young heartthrob Bloom because they feel a younger, trendier actor will attract fans to the film series. SAN FRANCISCO -- The t-shirt-stripping college gals of the "Girls Gone Wild" videos have a fan in Brad Pitt. The pretty boy actor brought baskets of "Girls Gone Wild" goodies -- including trucker hats, DVDs and beach towels -- to the set of his most recent film, "Troy" and handed them out as wrap gifts to the cast and crew, reports sfgate.com. NEW YORK -- Pop star Britney Spears popped her knee during a concert in New York last week, which forced her to cancel a subsequent performance. Spears had been singing and dancing to one of her new songs "Boom, Boom" when she tweaked her knee. She disappeared behind stage and reappeared in a white bathrobe and apologized to the audience for not being able to continue.
