Los Angeles, CA -- Celebrity stalkers come from all stalks of life -- at least that's the verdict of one legal expert.

Rhonda Saunders is a stalking expert in Los Angeles and specializes in cases involving the kooks who stalk stars.

For instance, Saunders helped prosecute Robert Hoskins, who stalked Madonna, and Jonathan Norman, who terrorized Steven Spielberg.

Those guys may fit the stereotype of celeb stalkers, but Saunders says star chasers come in all shapes and sizes.

There are some similarities. Saunders says celeb stalkers tend to be very intelligent people and many genuinely believe they had a relationship with the celebrity.

But celeb stalkers aren't the most devoted fans. Saunders says they often switch to other stars and many are simply using their celebrity encounters as a form of notoriety, knowing full well their attacks will become part of their victim's permanent public record.

Saunders is the focus of "Reasonable Fear," a documentary about celebrity stalking debuting Thursday (Mar. 25) on Court TV.
