New York, NY (WFN) -- The NCAA Basketball Tournament has just started -- and that means lots of dough for ESPN basketball announcer Dick Vitale -- as in pizza dough.

The veteran broadcaster admits he will spend most of this weekend at ESPN studios watching all the games and making comments along the way.

It's not easy to find time for a good meal, but Vitale claims he doesn't mind because it gives him the chance to eat lots of pizza. In his words, "Pizza and basketball, together. It doesn't get any better than this, baby!"

Vitale may be beefing up his basketball knowledge for the opening rounds but he won't be beefing up his pizza, saying he likes veggies more and -- quote -- "That's how I can be a 64-year-old man who acts like a 12-year-old."

The connection to pizza doesn't end there. Vitale is currently doing commercials for DiGiornio Pizza, which is giving one fan the chance to win lifetime tickets to the Final Four basketball game.
