Dick Clark Accused Of Age Discrimination

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Dick Clark may be America's oldest teenager, but now he's being accused of discriminating against other oldsters.

76-year-old TV show creator Ralph Andrews, who has created shows like "Liars Club, It Takes Two" and "You Don't Say" is suing 74-year-old Clark for leading him on about a potential job offer before nixing the deal by saying, "People our age are considered dinosaurs."

Andrews disagrees, figuring that if Clark isn't too old then "...why am I?"

Adding insult to ageism, Andrews hired Clark back in 1997 to host "It Takes Two" on the Family Channel.

No word on the exact amount of damages Andrews is seeking, but his lawyer is confident in the case, saying Clark's actions "blatantly violate" anti-discrimination laws.
