	2004-03-02 - Weird News Wireless Flash News Actress Wins Long-Time Jaclyn Smith Battle

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- When actress Christina Chambers won the coveted role of Jaclyn Smith in the upcoming docu-drama "Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Charlie's Angels," it was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. Chambers has been a fan of the series since she was a young girl and admits she used to fight with her best friend over who got to play Smith's character, Kelly Garrett. Luckily for Chambers, "I usually won." Chambers is still in contact with her childhood "Angel" playmate and admits she's considering calling her to say, "Nyah nyah nyah" before the film's premiere on March 8 on NBC. But while Chambers is thrilled to win the role, it was a challenge for her. In her words, "Smith is so private in her personal life that I tended to play her as 'Kelly Garrett' because that's how people know her."
