Ottawa, Ontario (WFN) -- A Canadian college student who engaged in a spitting contest ended up being the biggest splatter when he fell 11 stories to his death. Sources say the accident happened after Carleton University engineering student Ameer "A.J." Jinah tried to win the contest by getting a running start before spitting. WASHINGTON -- Fans at a Washington Wizards/Indiana Pacers game earlier this week were shocked when a man proposed to a woman on the court and she promptly ran off. The rejection happened on the court during halftime at the Wizards' MCI Center, and scoreboard operators rubbed it in a little by flashing a sign which read, "She said No!" CUDAHY, Wis. -- Old-fashioned child discipline recently took a front seat at a Cudahy, Wisconsin, high school when a father spanked his daughter in front of her biology class. The "Milwaukee Journal Sentinel" reports the spanking came after school officials told the father his child had disrupted her class and he replied, "You know what? There won't be a problem in today's class because I'm going to be in there." Following the incident, the school has changed its policies and now only allows parents to meet with students in the administration offices. SINGAPORE -- Two polar bears in Singapore's zoo have turned green from algae growing in their hair follicles. The mama bear received a hydrogen peroxide treatment to restore her hair to white and her 13-year-old son will receive the same treatment in three weeks because the zoo wants to observe her reaction before bleaching her son.
